I went to Coroners Court a few years ago. I was in work,and there was a letter in my tray,I had been off work for a few days, not even aware it was there, and had to drive to Coroners Court immediately from working on the truck.I was not aware until that point, that I had to attend. Obviously I had no preparation at all and had to think on my feet, when everyone else at the hearing all had written statements. Never again, I was on my own without any real support from anyone. If it ever happens again I will write a statement, that way I will not have to attend. I was S*****g myself.
