Little Reminders

The following equipment is required to perform intubation:

 

  • Bag / Mask (reservoir)
  • Oxygen
  • Laryngoscope complete with spare bulb and batteries
  • Larygoscope Blade of the correct size 
  • Magill Forceps
  • Suction Equipment
  • Lubrication gel and gauze swabs
  • endotracheal tube, pre-cut to correct size
  • 20ml syringe
  • Spencer wells forceps
  • Catheter mount and tubing
  • Stethoscope
  • Oro-pharyngeal airway
  • Ribbon gauze or tape for securing the tube
  • Bougie/introducer
